One of the conclusions the US article reaches is that computer technology is often used to assist instruction rather than to promote learning. This sets me thinking. As a teacher, our role is not to cram what we have learned and memorized into our students' head, but to help them learn how to learn. We often say:"live and learn". Learning is a lifelong process. If we make good use of technology to promote learning, our students will benefit for their whole life.
